Galore Computers are based in the North East of England within the Newcastle area. Galore specialises in Desktop & Laptop Repairs, Upgrades & Custom Built Computers to the customer's specifications.
The Story so Far...
In April 2002, Dan Blackburn (Picture), a 14 year old school boy from Whitley Bay, Newcastle established a very simple business using the name Galore Web Services. At this time, he fixed computers mainly for friends & family using very basic methods, and made a bit of "pocket money" at the same time!

Dan became more and more interested in Computers, and increased his learning, whilst fixing more and more computers. The business began to grow as friends told more friends, and the Galore reputation was passed on.

Despite the increase in work from the business, Dan vowed to maintain the same high standards of repair and service to his customers, knowing that this was what made Galore different from its competitors. Working alone allowed Dan to personally check each job was completed to the highest possible standard, and build up a personal relationship of trust between him and his clients.

Whilst speaking to clients, he noticed a common theme of dissatisfaction with the major PC retailers, as they were only interested in selling, and did not want to genuinely help their customers. He picked up on this and ensured that he did not allow this to happen with Galore by developing a simple, friendly website designed to help clients, and software to ensure that the work he was doing was carried out correctly.
A New Name for a New Era
In May 2011, Galore Web Services became Galore Computers and a brand new website was launched. I decided to change the name to simplify exactly what it is the Galore stands for - I felt "Galore Web Services" was too vague, and by renaming to "Galore Computers" it became self-explanatory.

The Galore Computers website was also launched, using similar colour schemes to the original Galore site, but focussing on simplicity and style. The site has been designed to get you the information you want as quickly as possible with no complicated menus or pages of text to read.

What does the future hold?
We now have countless customers across the North East, and we want to maintain our excellent relationship with them. I am planning to add more features to the website to make the Galore experience easier, and more enjoyable.

I am currently developing "My Galore", which will allow Galore customers to login and see information about their Computers, Quotes, Receipts and access to the Client Support section which will feature thousands of frequently asked questions.

I also want to offer client's more choice when it comes to Custom Desktop PC's - I am looking at developing an online "PC Builder" which will allow Client's the ability to create their own custom made PC, show live pricing information, and order their ideal PC at the push of a button.

One thing I do know is that Galore will continue to develop, not losing focus on the ideals that it was founded on - offering Outstanding Service & Value to our customers, and I will personally ensure this continues to happen - I have not had a dissatisfied Customer yet, and that will not change!
